Ohio River Bridge Progress - June 2006

The bridge is presently about 85% complete, with the current anticipated completion date being November 30, 2007. The Ohio deck is complete and we are getting ready to place the parapets and median barrier. All of the steel is placed on the arch and the cable hangers should be completed by the last part of June 2007. After completing the cable hangers, the remaining falsework will be removed from the arch structure. The first deck placement has been made on the WV approach to the arch, and placement of reinforcing steel and stay in place metal forms continues.
