River Hill Road Bridge - August 2007

The project to construct a bridge on River Hill Road (CR 34/4) overpassing US 50 is scheduled to begin construction in October of 2007 with completion anticipated by October 2009. The purpose of this project is to eliminate the need for left turn maneuvers at the intersection of US 50 with River Hill Road. When the overpass is complete, right turns will still be permitted onto US 50 from either side of River Hill Road. Motorists wishing to make a left turn will cross the new overpass and enter via a right turn from the opposite side. The estimated cost for this project is approximately $6.2M.
